My favorite TLM Catholic Blogs

Over the years we see an increasing number of Traditonal Latin mass Catholic blogs. I think this is in response to the way our own heirarchy has been sabatoging the church since Pius XII. These people are Catholics, they are frustrated and want to do what they can for the church in her hour of need.

Tridentine Catholic has 30 Traditional Catholic blogs and websites on our RSS feeds page. Here are a few of my favorites and a run down of a few others.

My fav 4 are Frank Walkers Canon 212 and his blog stumbling block. If I had to describe Frank I would say he is the “Joe Six Pack” of the pews. A regular guy who loves the Catholic faith but does not get too soppy about it. He has a very funny dry sense of humor much like the Comedian George Carlin, a dry sense of intellectual humor. Canon 212 are daily news articles about the church he lists with his own headlines that really tell it like it is. He also does a briefing video taken off his headlines that he comments on and they are fiesty and hillarious.

Next is Mundabors blog. Another trad with a great sense of humor. He is not afraid to be blunt and tell it like it is. He calls a spade a spade and tells it like it is. No sugar coating here so if your a diabetic don’t worry I don’t think its hazzardous to your health. His sense of humor is more like president Trumps (A man who he deeply respects by the way), sarcastic at times but always makes a good point or two.

Then comes Mary Ann Kritzers blog Les Femmes, the women of Truth. Her stories are informative and from the heart. Kind of like if your mom had a blog. She really does not moralize against anyone, rather she presents the facts, gives her view and let you decide. She has also uncovered a few gold nuggets in her stories. A daily must read for me.

Anthony Stein and Return to Tradition rounds up my fav’s. Anthony knows how to dig for stories and dig he does. Very intelligent guy but does not let it go to his head. He has said on occassion, “Doctors degree is no big deal, I have one and if I can get one anyone can”, I don’t know about that but appreciate the humility. He is another fearless souls who tells it like it is, no if,s and’s but’s or mostof all fear from the Vatican thugs.

Honorable mentions would be Ann Barnhardts blog Ann is another fearless soul who tells it like it is. I first got into her with the video she made condemning the Koran, marking the pages with bacon strips and burning those pages. That is what gained my respect for her. Most guys I know would be hiding under the bed springs. Muslims and their evil religion need to be held accountable. I do have a love/hate relationship with her. Sometimes I leap out of my chair after reading one of her pieces with a, YES, EXACTLY, RIGHT ON! While other articles prompt me with a WHAT??!

Rounding up my favs is Novus Ordo watch. I especially like Tradcast express. Regardless what you think of Sedevacantists these guys are GOOD. Thorough, lots of church news coverage and Like Fr. Cekeda they layout pretty good grounds for the Sede position. They are also laced with humor, a dry humor but funny non the less. Also depending on who walks out on that balcony I may be joining them very soon.

Most of the other blogs are good and I am sure their heart is in the right spot but they tend to be Condescending to the extent of Walnut cracking. They have informative well written stories but never fail to preach to you. “If you do this its a mortal sin, that and you’ll be excommunicated”. This is all fine and good and I am sure meant as constructive criticism but for me unless your wearing a Roman collar I am not interested. You take care of your soul and I will take care of mine.

Oh and one more thing, the term walnut cracking I took from the movie Das Boot. The first officer was a gun ho Nazi and during the officers first meal together the first mate pontificated about all for the fatherland. At that point the 3rd officer whispered in the Captains ear, “His butt cheeks are so tight they can crack walnuts”. Hence Walnut crackers.
