The closer we get to the SSPX episcopal consecration the more the rhetoric heats up. At this point both sides are digging into their foxholes. The alleged Holy Father who is about as Fatherly as Pol Pot is busy ignoring the issue. He is not worried, its all going as planned.
People on line gloating that their FSSP mass is not Schismatic don’t fully understand if it was not for the SSPX there would be no FSSP, ICKSP, or any of the other alphabet soup Catholic groups. The FSSP was started in 1988 by 12 former members of the Society of Saint Pius X who left following the Écône consecrations, which resulted in the SSPX bishops being excommunicated by the Holy See. By the way those excommunications were later Rescinded on legal grounds. However the hoax did work for the Vatican, they got 12 members to defect. The only reason the Fraternity received Vatican approval from JP2 was in an attempt to kill off the SSPX. The logic here was to siphon priests and the faithful from the Society so that they would whiter and die, then force the FSSP to conform. Fortunately for all of us the SSPX did not go along with the game plan and continue to thrive.
Remember control of these ecclesia dei groups is under the local bishop, who in the case of the the ICKSP, who do not own any of the churches, can be kicked out at a moments notice. I am sure that day is coming in the near future. Many times in cities the FSSP would build chapels right across the street from the SSPX in hopes of drawing away the faithful. The persecution will not stop until the last Latin mass is laid to rest. Leo is using whatever lackey he can find to fill post as bishops in various dioceses to fufill that dream of his.
In World war two German officers were given two choices they could either use the traditional military salute or the political seig heil when addressing an officer. After the assassination attempt on Hitler the only acceptable method was the seig heil. After the excommunications I am sure Leo will be looking for new ways to extract loyalty from the Catholic religious like Adolf did. He might just say that the Latin mass is too divisive so it must be eliminated because of the SSPX. Ecclesia Dei groups might be forced to provide the Mass of Paul VI in the vernacular exclusively. Much better than the Hoe down mass at Saint Billy’s down the street but far from a real mass. There is a good percentage of Ecclesia dei priests that will not give up the Latin mass forcing them to bolt to the SSPX where excommunication awaits them. All in Leo’s plan that the modernist’s spent time fine tuning.
I am convinced this was the long term plan going back to Vatican 2. I think playing this game the Vatican is about to shoot themselves in the foot. Most of the main contributors to the church attend Latin masses. In Novus Ordo land they continue to run out of money, Detroit alone under bishop Skinhead is planning to cancel 90 weekend masses. The excuse was lack of priests low attendance. Ah! Dah! What does that tell you? Maybe your headed in the wrong direction. Catholics weak in their faith will leave all together, liberal modernists will remain thinking this is greater than sliced bread. That leaves a lot of confusion in the center all because Leo wants all his bad eggs in one exommunicable basket. Leo’s tactics will not only loose the TLM Catholics as intended but also Novus Ordo Catholis so sick and tired of the politics they will split.
Meanwhile the the SSPX builds a new, huge seminary in Virginia and a huge Cathedral in St. Marys Kansas prompting Bergoglio to say, “How can they get all this money?”. Easy, its the real faith. It will attract people to open their pocket books every time. Young men will continue to flock to the SSPX knowing its the only safe harbor left. This will enable them to build new chapels and draw even more away from that rotten apple now known as Leo.
If anything SSPX religious may well be Martyrs adhering to the true unadulterated faith. That alone makes them non heretics. It is our responsibility as Catholics to obey the one true faith as handed down by Christ and not some fallible modernist man. When the Excommunications come down I will make a big contribution to the SSPX in hopes to be included in Leo’s temper tantrum.
