About 3 weeks ago at my SSPX chapel we prayed a Litany of St. Joseph and after we prayed a Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be for the Holy Father. Hardly shows we are in Schism. If we were why are we offering prayers for the intention of the pope.

In the past it always bothered me. I thought I’ll be darned if I pray for the intentions of that meat head Francis (at the time but now Leo as well). What helped me to come with grips for this was a poster in Stubstack who wrote this. It cleared up a lot.
Francisca4d Just to make clear for other readers who may not realize, praying for the intentions of the Pope does not mean praying for the private intentions of an individual Pope (which these days would probably be sacrilegious or worse etc!). It means:
1. The Exaltation of the Church
2. The Propagation of the Faith
3. The Extirpation of Heresy
4. The Conversion of Sinners
5. The Concord between Christian Princes
6. The Further Welfare of the Christian People+
Don’t be afraid to pray for intentions of the pope. What you are doing more or less is praying for the intentions of the church or the chair of St. Peter regardless if the Pope is Pius X or Leo XIV.
