What is becoming more and more evident and the controversy over the SSPX consecrations is that most Novus Ordo Catholics know little if anything about their own faith.
I realized this by the feedback I got from a Novus Ordo Catholic women on a neo con George Weigel commentary. The majority of the comments went pretty much along the lines of, they have no right to disagree with the “Holy Father” (I absolutely hate when Leftie Leo is called that since he is neither Holy or Fatherly). They don’t understand our obedience is to the true Catholic Faith and not some politician from Chicago. Here was the comment I posted.
That thing out there that Leftie Leo is pushing is NOT Catholic. Its a product of something called the New Liturgical movement. The goes back as far as both world wars and gained momentum with the appointment of Fr. Bugnenni in 1948 to a Vatican liturgical role. It all came to a head at Vatican 2 what was a pastoral conference and NOT a doctrinal one. Bugnini designed the new mass with the help of 6 protestant ministers to assure the Catholic mass did not contain anything offensive to protestants. The NLM denies the divinity of Christ in the Eucharist replacing it instead with a line from Matthew, “where ever two or more of you are gathered in my name I am there”. So the mass became all about a gathering, the last supper and not the unbloody sacrifice on calvary. That is why the statues and tabernacles were removed from Catholic churches to emphasis the gathering and not Calvary. Fr. The Catholic church does not promote gay unions, Leo’s does. The Catholic church believes in miracles, Leo denies them claiming Christ did not multiply loaves and fishes it was the people gathered that brought extras and shared them. Leo insulted Christs mother when he denied that she was co-redemtrix. Real Catholics do not worship false idoles like Leo did with the Pachamama in Puru. f you think that is Catholic please tell me what your drinking because I want a glass too! Bottom line Bobby Prevost, stage name Leo XIV, is a heretic and heretics can not excommunicate anyone.
The lady in facebook responds with no facts, just emotion. Very similar to Democrat liberals. She accused me of spreading tinfoil hat conspiracy theory and I no right to criticize the “holy father”, there is that word or words again! Ending with accusing me of being Schismatic. Again she got it twisted I and the SSPX for that matter are not Schismatic, Leo is the schismatic, he is the one starting to change doctrine. My last comment to her was “rather than call me names why don’t you do some research on Google on everything I listed and I guarentee you will find no errors. I was then blocked. People do not like hearing the truth I guess.
In all honesty I do feel sorry for these people. They know little is anything about the roots of the true faith. Its now all touchy feely feel good tripe just like their masses. Pretty soon their confession will be reduced to a listening session. I guess no one does anything wrong over there anymore. Absolutely no substance. I was blessed to attend Catholic Grade School in the 60s when we still had good nuns who knew the faith backwords and forewords and believed in it. I still remember Sister Ester’s response to a question, “Sister, can a divorced man become a priest?” Her answer was short and sweet. “There is no such thing as divorce”. I wonder how the Novus Ordo clergy would handle that? They would probably use a host of apologies and end up side stepping the issue.
Again the only education these Novus Ordo folks get in Catholic education is once a week for a 10 minute feel good sermon from Father Billy. That has as much spiritual nourishment as a Dr. Pepper and snickers bar would have on your physical nourishment. The bouncy 12 year old bishop of New York had a chance to educate his people but choose to act like a giddy school girl almost pee-ing in his pants with excitement over his new Knicks sports apparel. An embarrassment to say the least. But then again under the Bergoglian line of popes the entire Catholic church has become an embarassement. To be clear, it is the political institution of the Catholic church and not the faith or doctrine. That will never change despite Leo.
