This year I got militant and actually logical about Lent. I knew most years I would give up with my program a week or two in mainly because I bit off more than I can chew. This year baby steps. A total fast from social networks, the internet in general and T.V. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In between on Tuesday and Thursday it off to the Novus Ordo perpetual adoration chapel to read the TLM from my Fr. Lasance missal for the day with all the propers in front of the blessed sacrament. So far its been a great Lent, things running to schedule and I have realized a few things to boot. What would you call it? Divine enlightenment? I have also been dealt a few roadblocks by the one they call old red legs.
The last Thursday and again today the adoration chapel was closed because of a water main break. What are the chances of that happening right in the middle of Lent. I am sure the evil one is not only doing this for my benefit but also for other who frequent the chapel during this Lent. I have also noticed other ways road blocks being thrown in front of me. Things constantly going wrong all of a sudden. Worry about this, worry about that. However that did not stop me from realizing one thing and taking the necessary steps to stop it.
Today I logged into my facebook account and as usual that list of “people you might know” pops up. Everytime it does I usually X out everyone and figure that would be the end of it. No its back the next day with twice the suggestions with no way to shut it off. I know none of those people and a good number are some of the sleaziest people you could ever imagine. Easy to tell by their very suggestive profile picture the list features. I just keep remembering what canon would say, “divert the eyes, divert the eyes” so I went on to the main feed only be be greeted by a world of hate. Everyone if arguing and fighting with everyone else and most of it is nasty. Here I am going from quiet tranquility on Monday to a raging storm on line today.
After I checked my email it was time to get out for my daily rosary walk. I asked God, “there is so much temptation in Facebook what do I do? The only reason I stay is to keep in touch with a handfull of friends.” The answer came in the middle of a mystery. Scourging at the pillar I think it was. A profound thought came out of nowhere. “If your arm is causing you to sin then cut it off”. The word from God was just “delete the account you fool!” Got home, hit delete, and all of a sudden it was like someone took an anvil off my shoulders. Don’t get me wrong, I am also in X, substack, and of course my own pub. Sure x has its share of naughty bits but you have to deliberately look for it, substack I don’t know of any loose areas at least yet that is, and the pub, never at the pub.
But facebook is a different animal. When they are not tempting you with suggestive thought and images, even on the main feed whether you want it or not they are trying to mold you into their own morality. For all practical purposes it is a cesspool and you can smell the stench the minute you log in. I wonder how many accounts Satan actually has? And speaking of Satan…………….
On X where I am still a member, Shawn Ryan had a fantastic 4 hour interview with Fr. Chad Ripperger the exorcist. Fascinating, educational, insightful and a bit chilling. So much so that halfway thru I set it on pause and grabbed my bottle of holy water and gave the house a good dosing! Every single room. The video started out with a statement about space aliens from Barack Obama and how they are real. Father said in a session (which is what he calls his exorcism sessions) the demons told him that they can and do manifest themselves as aliens to trick man. A fellow priest performing an exorcism said the victim was transformed into the stereotype figure of a space alien, big eyes small mouth big head greyish body. Sounds far fetched, I don’t think so. According to scripture there is no life out there we are it. Thought is that all the alien talk lately is to divert attention from the Epstein spectacle and the wide spread Satanic worship it was involved with.
There was a segment where Father talks about the demons telling him about all the followers they have in the Catholic hierarchy. Shawn asked how high does it go. Father replied not to the top but very close. Then I see this piece penned by Pudge Lewis that pudgy little fuzzball over there at hey Peter is that you. I hate to put this link to give pudges site any publicity but you really need to see for yourself how hateful and spiteful this guy is of the real church. Pudge is a real danger to what is left of the church. I then started to connect the dots.
Pudge is always concocting apologetic s for Leo and before Leo it was Francis. The demons have told Fr. Ripperger that Perversion and the occult has infiltrated the offices of the Church. So if Pudge is defending these guys where does that put him, where does HE stand? One thing for sure we know its not with the Catholics. This pope and the one before are definitely not Catholic. Catholic popes try to save souls not the environment. Its not their job. Real Catholics do not condone homosexual relations, this one does. Explain that away pudge. Real popes do not use altar girls. I remember when my dad died making funeral arrangements for him I requested Altar boys please NO girls to which my liberal sister immediately chimed in “My brother is a chauvinist”. That may be true but was not the point here. Traditionally in the church the altar boy was an acolyte, the first step to the priesthood, a chance to develop vocations. Since women can not be ordained……YET, then its illogical to have them on the altar. We can thank Koran kisser JP2 for this one. I suppose women priests is something else pudge would support…………as long as Leo says its ok. In his piece pudge was winning about some mental wet dream he has on how Fr. Ripperger is against women. Nonsense, the church recognizes the unique rolls of men and women and the family. Afterall Fr. Ripperger IS the Catholic while pudge is not. Fr. Ripperger was merely restating those rolls.
Since Leo hates Trump I am sure the lakey pudge does as well so I am sure he votes democrat. The anti Catholic democrat party that supports gay marriage, assisted suicide, and other abominations. That means pudge is probably trying to figure out what a women is himself seeing the Democrats are still working on that one. Remember in Pudges world if Leo says jump, you ask how high even if its jumping into the fiery pit.
