Mainly a third rate act in my opinion. The sad thing is that these liberal Catholics have no clue how serious this is. They mock their own church to the point of Blasphemy. The cassock and the stole are Catholic symbols of authority, religious artifacts. Spewing the Chicago bear logo is akin to the rainbow vestments we see in abundance lately. You might as well bring in Fido so he can lift his leg up on them because that is what they are doing.

Leo ask for it because this is what Leo wants, a synodal church were the very notion of faith is souly in the individual and not God. When they mock the pope, no matter how horrible any one pope is, they mock the church. I said “Mock”, not disagree. There is a huge difference. Even Peter the first pope and Paul disagrees about circumcision being a pre requisite to enter the church.

Last Sunday at my SSPX chapel Father talked about St.Pope Pius X, who’s feast was last week. Pius X is the patron of the society. Father stressed the need for a good pope like Pius. Pope Pius X was kind of a pope for all seasons. Father said he was one of the few popes in church history that literally came up thru the ranks beginning life as a poor farmer. Then he entered the priesthood going thru all the minor orders, then priest, then parish priest, then pastor, Monseigneur, bishop, cardinal and finally pope. Most other popes were more or less on a fast track to the papacy. In so doing Pius knew every aspect of the church backwards and forwards and knew the faithful as well. The perfect pope.

Pius wrote much about how modernism and its danger to the church he not only wrote much about it, but took actions against it. Much like what the SSPX is doing today. Pius had priests beginning with their ordination take an oath against modernism. A practice that ended with Vatican II. The two key points Leo most hated about modernism was the premise that religion is man centered. It does not come from God rather from deep within a mans soul. He is free to design his own religion. Hence the religion of America’s got talent. The second is that Dogmas can change. That, in the true church is impossible. Yet in 2026 we see it all around us festering in our church, egged on by stupid, misinformed, liberal Catholics who find this mockery above cute and amusing.

One of the main reasons I made the move to the SSPX was because of this creeping crud called modernism, or, in short, synoldality, or, religion is man centered. One of the things that drew me to the Society was one of the first statements Bishop Goldade made shortly after the Episcopal consecrations. He said, “Modernism is like an acid, it destroys all it touches”. As Father Goldade he was rector of the SSPX seminary in Virginia. If he has this outlook on modernism its safe to assume he instilled that same outlook in his seminary students, the future priests of the Society. That is what makes me now feel as though the SSPX is my true home.

To see the rest of Pius statements regarding modernism go HERE.

I found this little gem in Facebook this morning.
