As the smoke is clearing we are seeing the best laid plans of mice and men sometimes has the opposite effect. Leo’s plan is a pretty transparent one, give the SSPX lip service and no substance and eventually they will wither and die. We all know the goal is to not only eliminate the Latin mass but also any trace of the traditional Catholic faith.<\/p>\n\n\n

SSPX chapels are packed to capacity and then some. So how those excommunications working out for you Leo?<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

The game plan is to follow the New Liturgical Order to the letter which got into full swing in 1958 and the appointment of Fr. Annibale Bugnini to a Vatican post having a heavy hand in the planning of the liturgy resulting in the Catholic disaster known as Vatican II that the current pontiff is still trying to resolve with the shock peddles. The NLO (New liturgical order) was a plan to completely revolutionize the Catholic church. A major premise was to remove the notion of a divine presence, the unbloody sacrifice and replace it with the notion of the commemoration of the last supper. The model was St Matthew, “For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” This is why new churches after Vatican 2 were designed as the inside of an empty refrigerator. They did not want any religious images distracting the congregation from their focus on each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Being a Chicago Democrat Leo has learned the propaganda machine well. Probably why he had the Democrat strategist David Axelrod over to Rome. Probably discussed it over cocktails at Castel Gandolfo while dining on a gourmet meal by gay celebrity chef Art Smith. The goal was to excommunicate the SSPX getting them out of the way so he could neutralize the Ecclesia Dei groups and eventually destroy them too. There is no room for them, tradition, or the Latin mass in the new church. I am just shocked no one seems to realize this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Funny thing though, its not working. Last Sunday, the first Sunday after the Econe consecrations the SSPX chapels had standing room only with crowds out the door and into the street with the faithful trying to hear the mass. Below are pictures of Brazil, Barcelona, Rome, and North Idaho. People I know who attend the SSPX chapels report no desertions and are at full compliment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leo now has to shift to emergency mode so he sends in his stooges, the USCCB, the Catholic diocesan bishops, along with the ecclesia dei groups to justify his actions. Bishops where the SSPX has chapels or a chapel are now “Inviting” the SSPX faithful to rejoin his church. One thing, we never left in the first place. The SSPX masses still commemorate the Pope and local bishops in the cannon of the mass just like the ICKSP or the FSSP does. Only difference is the society is not groveling at Leo’s feet. He is accepted as pope but his modernist nonsense will not be tolerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The canon at the ICKSP oratory where I attend, at least for the time being, in his sermon told us “the sorrowful events at Econe” and “People who relished in the consecrations should be ashamed of themselves”. I know other Institute canons also looked down on the consecrations but in a less inflammatory sense. I am sure the same was repeated from pulpits of the FSSP as well. This is the genius of Leo, he has managed to get all the TLM communities at each other throats. Divide and conquer is the key here. Its a shame, all the Institute Priests I have ever experienced are good dedicated men who have given their life for the church. Its a crying shame they are used as pawns in Leo’s chess game under his chief lap dog, Cardinal Raymond “spinless” Burke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leo has pulled out all the stops, grifters, like Taylor Marshall are already pledging allegiance and “taking a knee” to the Leo over these consecrations. Must be big bucks in weak knees! All this tells me Rome is in panic mode. They fail to realize most Catholics, even Novus Ordo, don’t like where the church is headed under the Bergoglian line of popes. They are fed up with Synodality, potential women priests, even excitement over the first women pope,(oh please, gag me with a mitre), political activism, justifications of sodomite relationships, etc. Rome either does not see this or does want to see this. To top it all off they lied about the implications of the excommunications. Fr. Z’s blog had the following piece, IMPORTANT expert canonical exam of the DDF SSPX Decree: It does NOT excommunicate SSPX priests or faithful who attend Masses, or change the practical canonical position of faithful seeking SSPX sacraments.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bottom line here, don’t be discouraged or afraid, if you a faithful TLM catholic devoted to the SSPX revitalization of the true faith, and not trad inc. realize we are winning. Don’t listen to political Rome, the smoke of Satan Paul VI spoke of is getting thicker in the Prevost sanctuary. The only advice I can give is if you ever get to Rome and shake hands with Leo just make sure you count your fingers to make sure you get 5 back.
