<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\nOur canon was in Florence (Gricigliano actually just outside). First part of his sermon was good. He talked about all the vocations the seminary had and how 30 were putting on the cassock and 4 were being ordained to full priesthood. Then he contrasted that to the “sad happening” in Encone. I thought oh no here it comes and I was right he went on chattering the SSPX is disobedient to the Church. He said they threaten the Unity of the church, and how its the duty of all Catholics to be unified under the pope. He said those of us who “reveled” in the episcopal consecration ceremony should be ashamed. Whats the bottom line then? We’re supposed to be ashamed to feel like an actual Catholic anymore in fear of offending the pope?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I had a flash back to the Sunday after Prevost was elected and how the previous canon rattled on about how Cardinal Burke though Prevost would make an excellent pope. When he caught me making a face and shaking my head he got enraged and started rattling on about the merits of Leo and how there were no other choices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then it dawned on me, the common thread. Our canon led the pilgrimage to Gricigliano for the institutes ordinations of new priests. Guess who was ordaining them? Our old friend Cardinal Raymond “The spineless” Burke. That has to be where our canon got this from. I could just hear Burke, in his nazzely Truman Capote voice rattling on about the evils of the SSPX. Could be jealousy where as they have a set of Cahoones and he does not. I am sure he got them all ginned up against the SSPX. In case you don’t know Burke has these guys eating out of his hand. He says jump they ask how high. Around them he can be a big man which makes up for all the groveling he does to Leo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t blame the canons, their formation starts very early, around 21. Too young to actually experience life so for all intents purposes they are genuine experts in doctrine but children when it comes to the real world. Unlike us they have never had the carpet pulled out from under them. An old boss of mine, Jewish guy actually, once told me when I just started in the Restaurant design industry and I just seemed to be attacked on all sides. He said the founder of the company once told him that, “If you want to stay in the food service industry you better get yourself a pair of lead britches because there will always be someone trying to kick you in the butt”. Only he used a different word for butt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I don’t think these guys, or the FSSP for that matter know whats in store for them. They think they can just go merrily about reading the TLM, doing the sacraments in Latin, and just live out life in their own echo chamber. They are in for a rude awakening. With the SSPX out of the way, they are next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The same can be said of the FSSP and all the other Ecclesia Dei groups. They will now be forced to do the bidding of the Vatican. Dialog? We saw the dialog Leo had with the SSPX. Mundabor did a piece about that, Between a rock and a hard spot<\/a>. Everyone talks unity, one big happy family. I only wonder if these groups know the price of that unity. Unity with Rome, fine, but what happens if the price is your forced to read a Novus ordo mass, bless gay unions, rally for open boarders? Will you still be willing to unite behind Leo? Or will the SSPX who will not put up with this crap start to look pretty good. Changes are coming and these changes will break these orders in half. Then again that is Leo’s goal. End the Traditional Latin mass and tradition. That is the goal of the Leo Church. Again remember what happened to the Franciscan friars of the Immaculate<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Leo has successfully managed to get all the TLM groups at each others throats. That in itself is worth another Martini at Castel Gandolfo. Leo started the ball rolling now he will just sit back and watch us destroy ourselves. Like I say, GENIUS! At 72 years old I learned how to be a survivor so I will get by on continuing picking up crumbs of Catholicism where ever I find them. SSPX, Ecclesia Dei, Independants, even Sedevacantist. I really don’t have problems with the Sedes, just the way they fight all the time. They are like a Catholic version of Jehovah Witnesses. So for now I will continue to go to the institute, just will stop throwing stuff in the collection basket. Besides I have gotten use to getting my eggs and veggies from the local farmers out there on the way home. I will however to continue to support the SSPX. Like I keep telling you.
